Two Carson Valley softball players, Ruby Jacobsen and Brooke Walter, helped Nevada Stealth win the 12U division title at the recent All-World World Series in Carson City.

Stealth went undefeated in seven games despite fielding a young roster in which all but two of its players are 10U eligible.

The team scored 78 runs and allowed 17 in those seven games. Stealth defeated the Lassen Chaos (Susanville, Calif.) in the championship game. Stealth also defeated the Carson Valley HotShots and Nevada Sharks plus four California teams en route to the finals.

The team has played softball more than 26 weekends this year. Another highlight was its runner-up finish at the USSSA California state tournament.

Brooke and Molly are both honors students academically as they head into their first year at Carson Valley Middle School. Ruby is also a MEFIYI Molly Award winner.
