Senior tailback Buh Hamilton led the way offensively with four touchdowns.
Hamilton rushed for 125 yards including touchdown runs of 66 and 31 yards.
Hamilton also scored on a 70-yard screen pass and a 77-yard kickoff return.
Hamilton added an interception and was in on eight tackles to cap a stellar performance.
Quarterback Josiah Huhta threw for 151 yards and 4 touchdowns. Huhta added a 14-yard touchdown run. Defensively Huhta had 2 solos, 6 assists, and 2 sacks in a solid effort from his defensive end position.
Tight end Mat Randall led the Coleville receivers with 42 yards and 2 touchdown receptions. Randall also led the Wolf defense from his linebacker spot with 8 solos, 8 assists, and 1 fumble caused.
Austin Byers caught 4 passes for 39 yards and one touchdown. Byers added 3 solos, 8 assists, and 1 fumble recovery on defense.
The Wolves defense forced 5 turnovers including 3 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. David Sandoval with 4 solos and 2 assists, Miguel Saldivar with 4 solos and 5 assists, and Zury Hoaglund with 4 solos, 3 assists, and one fumble recovery played well for Coleville defensively.
“Our defense was very opportunistic and for the second week in a row forced at least 5 turnovers,” commented coach Will Sandy following the game. “We made too many mistakes including penalties that negated two touchdowns. We can’t afford to make these kinds of mistakes next week when we host a very talented Carlin team.”
Coleville ends the weekend 1-0 in league play and 5-0 overall. The Wolves will host Carlin on Saturday for a contest that will begin at 1 p.m.
