Undefeated Saul Rodriguez will take on Ramsey Luna Saturday in the main event of the eighth annual Fallon Fights.

The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Churchill County Fairgrounds and will feature a slew of small, energetic yet furious fighters on a national stage. All bouts are below 154 pounds so fans can expect a bevy of fights heavy on action.

The main event features Rodriguez (17-0-1, 13 KOs) of Riverside, Calif., against Luna of Corpus Christi, Texas, (12-3, 5 KOs) in an eight-round bout, which will also be televised nationally on Univision.

Also scheduled to be on TV are Andres Tapia of Mexicali, Mexico, (8-4-2) and Victor Pasillas (10-0) of East Los Angeles in an eight-round Super Bantamweight fight and Sacramento Super Featherweights Rafael Busuioc (1-0) and Xavier Martinez (1-0) meet in a four-rounder.

Reno’s Oscar Vasquez (8-1, 1 KO) will battle Jose Toribio (6-1, 1 KO) of San Diego in an eight-round bout. Vasquez, a 122-pound flyweight, is riding a six-fight win streak dating to June 2012.

Admission is $30 for ringside, $15 for adults, $13 for military and seniors and $10 for children 10 and under.

This year’s Fallon Fights event is co-sponsored by the city of Fallon, Top Rank Boxing and Let’s Get It On Promotions.
