A four-run sixth inning rally lifted the Douglas Tigers to a 9-7 non-conference junior varsity victory at home against Dayton on Monday afternoon.
Douglas broke a 5-5 tie with its rally as Zak Korzenkiewski, Justin Stevens, Elijah Hinojosa, Camden Brown and Elijah Lyons delivered singles.
Brown went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in the first inning and Lyons 3-for-4 to lead the Tigers' 15-hit attack. Brown scored three runs and drove in two runs.
Jonathan Antti, Hinojosa and Korzenkiewski also went 2-for-3. Antti doubled and tripled.
The Tigers scored twice in the third inning to take a 5-4 lead before Dayton tied the score with one run in the top of the sixth.
Korzenkiewski started on the mound and allowed one earned run on four hits over four innings. He worked out of a bases loaded jam in the fourth inning without allowing a run.
