Special to The R-C |

Editor,

The Douglas girls soccer program would like to thank all of the participants, coaches, and other volunteers that helped make this year’s camps a tremendous success.

Over a hundred players participated in either the morning youth camp or the evening high school camp. All proceeds from the camps will be used to offset expenses for the upcoming season. We would also like to thank local businesses: Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Summit Plumbing, Play It Again Sports, and A Sign Shop for their support.

Douglas girls soccer tryouts will begin on Saturday (7-8 a.m. and 6-8 p.m.) at DHS (Tryouts continue Monday and Tuesday). All participants must be cleared by the Tiger Cage prior to beginning tryouts. Go to the DHS Athletics website at http://schools.dcsd.k12.nv.us/dhs/Athletics/DHSathletic.htm or follow us on Facebook at “DHS Girls Soccer” for more information.
