Boys’ Soccer: Reno hands Douglas soccer last-minute loss

Reno High’s Chris Perez scored with under three minutes left to break a 1-1 tie and give the Huskies a 2-1 victory over Douglas in Northern 4A boys’ soccer action at Reno High School Wednesday night.

The loss was the Tigers’ second in league play this year, the other coming in the last few minutes against South Tahoe last week.

Perez got the Huskies up with a goal in the 27th minute on a Dan Rucker assist.

Douglas’ Myles DeLaurentis tied the game up in the 60th minute with a goal.

Steve Done and Chris Aguilar each made two saves for Douglas in net.
