The Douglas boys’ basketball team never trailed in a 71-50 romp over league foe Galena Saturday night in Minden.

The Tigers had held Galena standout Emily Burns scoreless in the first half and allowed only four first-half field goals, but the Grizzlies found their stride coming out for the second half.
Galena outscored the Tigers 9-3 over the first four minutes of the third quarter to tie the game and followed that with a 12-0 run that put them in front for good.
Douglas got 10 points from Bri Burnside and eight each from Jackie Harper and Carly McCullough in the loss.
Taylor Schaller led the Grizzlies with 21 points and Burns put up 17 second-half points in the win.
