More than 200 athletes took part in the annual Douglas High School Rodeo. All of the PRCA-sanctioned events were contested along with several special National High School Rodeo Association-sanctioned events, including goats.

In poles, Chelsie Olafson won both gos with consistent times of 20.67 and 20.75 seconds.
In breakaway, Rosie Marvel finished second in the first go but came back to win the second go.
Randon Adams won both rounds in the boys cutting competition, Kenny Drayton earned the highest score in both gos of the bull riding competition, Matt Shiozawa posted the fastest time in both gos of the calf roping competition and Snuff Kolvet posted the fastest time in both gos of the steer wrestling competition.
Kolvet was named the top all-around cowboy on both days. Event winners took home a prestigious and specially-designed belt buckle.
