Genoa, Nev. — High Sierra Fellowship is seeking approval of a major design review for a 19,526-square-foot church to be located near Heritage Park at the entrance to Chichester Estates. Gardnerville Town Board members will review the project design at their regular meeting 4:30 p.m. today in the town offices, 1407 Main St.
An Indian Hills man faces 12-60 months in prison at sentencing this morning in Douglas County District Court for third instance of domestic battery in seven years. Raymond F. Carpenter, 36, admitted he tried to strangle a 14-year-old in September 2015.
