The R-C Morning Report for March 6

Genoa, Nev. — Chains or snow tires are required on most major Douglas County routes this morning, including highways 50, 395, 88 and Kingsbury Grade. The controls in the Valley should lift later today if the roads get some sun on them.

We could see snow showers this morning before they start to dissipate. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph could cause near white-out conditions in places. Be careful headed in to work this morning.

Lake Tahoe school buses are on a 90-minute delay and are stopping at the main stops only. The Valley buses will be running normally, according to the school district.
