The R-C Morning Report for Feb. 10
February 10, 2017
Genoa, Nev. — The county expects Cradlebaugh Bridge to close this morning, which means anyone trying to get into Carson Valley will have to take Jacks Valley Road and Foothill all the way south to Fairview. Better to stay put if you can.
With all of the routes crossing the west side of the Valley closed, anyone going to or from Tahoe is headed through Genoa, too. Please watch out for the deer and obey the speed limit through town.
Aspen Mobile Home Park flooded again and was evacuated. Those folks are being put up at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center.
Most of the power outages in Norther Nevada are in Douglas County with 715 NV Energy customers without electricity in 32 separate outages. Most of those look like they’ll be back on by dawn.
