The investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct by former Assemblyman Mike Sprinkle raised questions among, in particular, women working in various capacities in the Legislature. Rule 20 of the Joint Standing Rules prohibits sexual harassment including unwelcome advances, inappropriate verbal abuse, unwanted physical conduct of a sexual nature as well as retaliation against someone for refusing advances.
