EDITOR:

The residents and staff at Carson Valley Residential Care Center wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the various groups and individuals who gave of their time, gifts and talents, making this Christmas season at our community the best one ever.

Thank you to Kathy Johnson and all of the GE employees who kindly adopted our residents by giving a special gift to each one as part of their Rocking Chair Program.

We also wish to extend our appreciation to the following volunteer groups and individuals who thought of our seniors during this special time of year: Johnson Lane Baptist Church, Carson Valley United Methodist Church, St. Gall Catholic Church, First Baptist Church, All About Dance, Helping Hands Thrift Store, Earl Mussett and his line dancers, Meneley Elementary School first-graders, Grace Christian Academy, Dayspring Church choir, musicians Sonja and Curtis, Girl Scout Service Troop No. 605, Carson Valley LDS Church, Mona Burgess and Kaulana-Na-Pua-o-Hula Hawaiian Dancers, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Young at Heart, Jean Tomlinson, Lee Peacock, Sharon Goodwin and Nan Hart.

If we missed acknowledging your participation, please accept our heartfelt thanks.

It was, by far, the most warm and happy Christmas our CVRCC community has experienced and it couldn’t have happened without your thoughtfulness.
