This year the evening began with a few Biblical readings by Pete Nelson of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, followed by the release of 20 white doves, courtesy of Elise Anderson and Memories on Wings. A beautiful symbol of peace and freedom was illustrated by the birds as they flew home at sunset!
Again, thank you to all the contributors and to the people who attended and showed their support of the cause. With your help the Purple Ribbon Coalition again was able to send a clear message to our community that domestic violence will NOT be tolerated.
