Seeking help for local women
Genoa Bar Staff.
We have two local, wonderful women who really need your help. Their names are Debbie Ferreira and Shalene Hillbrick.
Debbie has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. She is currently undergoing painful and costly radiation and chemotherapy. Debbie has no insurance.
Shalene is a single mother of two daughters. She has been diagnosed with Stage III triple negative breast cancer. She is currently going through extremely aggressive chemotherapy which will be followed by two months of daily radiation therapy. Shalene is also uninsured.
The Genoa Bar will be hosting a silent auction on Jan. 28, starting to take bids on prizes at 6 p.m. and ending the bidding exactly at 9 p.m. at which time we will award the prizes to the highest bidder.
For the bidding, cash or checks made out to The Willy Webb, Debby and Shalene fundraiser. Contributions can be made at any Bank of America account No. 501008379465. All money will be split evenly between Debbie and Shalene.
Please help these great ladies in their time of need by donating prizes for the auction. Their strength is so inspiring to us all at
“Nevada’s Oldest Thirst Parlor.” No donation is too small. Call 782-3870 for more information.
