Pony Express Stables make for festive show

“Northern Nevada Lifestyles with Terrie Q. Sayre” heads to The Pony Express Stables on Foothill Road for a festive holiday show.

The show airs through December and runs Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on DCCA TV Ch. 16. You can also view it at 4 a.m. and p.m. and 9 a.m. and p.m. Friday through Sunday. Additionally, the program runs on Lake Tahoe’s South Shore cable access channel 19 at various times.

n Douglas Animal Welfare Group Vice President Laura Winking, along with Angel, a dog available for holiday adoption, will talk about how to keep pets safe through the holiday season.

n Marilyn Malkmus heads up Project Santa Claus and has a number of other ways to help the less fortunate in the community during the holidays.

n Dwight and Diana Borges tell about Pony Express Stables which has trail rides, wagon or carriage rides and sleigh rides once the snow flies. They also display their knowledge of the area and share their 40th anniversary festivities.

Finally, Dr. George Worth and Dan Lancaster provide a medley of some favorite Christmas carols performed at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
