Obituary: Virginia M. Marenco
Virginia Marie Marenco, 76, died Dec. 23, 2003, in Redwood City, Calif.
She was born April 9, 1927 to Frank Janowicz and Jenny Folmer Janowicz in Los Angeles, Calif.
Virginia lived in Tujunga, Calif. for 20 years. She loved traveling, camping and fishing and enjoyed the outdoors and the ocean.
She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years Roy Marenco of Gardnerville; daughter and son-in-law Paula and Jeff Lindeman of Camarillo, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Henry Castillo of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Rick Towner of Carson City; son Steven Marenco of San Diego, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Maureen Marenco of Gardnerville; son and daughter-in-law Andy and Cheri Marenco of Banning, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Elaine Marenco of Palmdale, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Chad Cooley of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Manuel Favela of Loma Rica, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Marian and Dennis Salazar of Santa Clarita, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation and rosary was recited Tuesday, Dec. 29, and funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 30, at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. Burial was at Mottsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gall Catholic Church for the adopt-a-pew program.
Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City was entrusted with arrangements.
