Electrician; Pennsylvania native

Edward Luther Clark, 79, died Oct. 17, 2002, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno.

Mr. Clark lived in Gardnerville for the past six years, coming from San Bernardino, Calif.

He was born April 21, 1923, in Johnstown, to Rebecca and William Clark.

He was an electrician and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He attended Garfield High School in Johnstown and served in the Navy as an aviation machinist.

Surviving are daughters, Rebecca Meyers, Kathleen Hewett and Irene Baker, all of Vancouver, Wash.; son, Dennis Clark of Gardnerville; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. FitzHenry’s Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
