Michele “Shelley” Campbell, 39, died Oct. 18, 2002.
A native of San Jose, Calif., she was born Sept. 20, 1963, and had lived in Gardnerville since 1996.
She was a graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and Ponce Beauty College. In 1985, she married Stuart Campbell.
Mrs. Campbell was a hair stylist in Carson City. She was a fan of the 49ers, and enjoyed cooking and collecting antiques.
Surviving are husband, Stuart of Gardnerville; father and stepmother, Don and Ellen Alexander of Penn Valley, Calif.; mother and stepfather, Francene Mertins and Herman Siegel of Lahaina, Hawaii; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Barbara Alexander and nephew, David Alexander and niece, Emma Alexander, all of San Jose; and stepbrother, Ernest Caballero of Valley Village, Calif.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 2 at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 North Roop St., Carson City.
A memorial fund has been established in Stuart Campbell’s name with the Bank of America, account number 004964713196 to help defray funeral costs.
Arrangements are being handled by Walton’s Chapel of the Valley.
