Ronald Curtiss Evanson, 55, died at his home in Gardnerville on Sept. 22. Born Nov. 8, 1948, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Marshall C. and Bobbie Ruth Evanson.
Evanson enjoyed going to the mountains with his son. He loved camping, fishing, playing his guitar and perfecting his singing and playing the song “Diggin’ Up Bones”. He worked in the plastics industry for 13 years in California.
He is survived by son Carl of Dresslerville; sisters Denise and Debbie of California; brothers, Marty and Robert of Reno, Lenny of California and Gerry of Idaho.
Arrangements are being made at FitzHenry’s Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Lois Lillian Paule
There will be an informal gathering for family and friends, Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m., 929 Dean Drive, Gardnerville to celebrate the life of Lois Lillian Paule, 76, who died Sept. 19 at her home in Gardnerville.
Born Dec. 2, 1927 in Whitman, Wash. to Edwin and Bessie Reedy-Hoenike, Mrs. Paule lived in Gardnerville from 1965 to 1993, then moved to British Columbia where she lived until moving back to Gardnerville in 2004. Mrs. Paule worked as a Supervisor at Bently Nevada from 1972 to 1989 when she retired from the company.
Mrs. Paule was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Franklin and Howard. She is survived by daughters Danise Vandale of Abbotsford, British Columbia and Melanie and son-in-law Denny Doyal of Gardnerville, two sisters, Eleanor Waite and Geraldine Pauletich, both of Orland, Calif., one brother, Kenny of Roy, Utah, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made though FitzHenry’s Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation will take place at FitzHenry’s Crematory in Carson City.
Eric Anthony Nageotte-Lowe
A celebration of life was Sept. 13 at Edgewood Golf Course for Eric Anthony Nageotte-Lowe, who died in a ski accident Sept. 6, 2004, at a New Zealand ski resort. He was 18.
Nageotte-Lowe was born Jan. 29, 1986, in Reno and was an 18-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. A 2004 graduate of South Tahoe High School, he took computer and guitar classes at Lake Tahoe Community College. He had worked at Sports LTD as well as for his father’s company, John Lowe Construction.
Nageotte-Lowe is survived by his father and mother, John and Toni Lowe of South Lake Tahoe; sisters, Danielle Lowe and Alyssa Lowe of South Lake Tahoe; father, Ron Nageotte, and his fiancé, Carol Rapacz, of Stateline; grandfathers, Anthony Costanzo of Jamestown, N.Y., and Robert Nageotte of Meadville, Pa.; grandmother, Betty Austin of San Clemente, Calif.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
