Library Closure

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden and Zephyr Cove will be closed today and Saturday for leave without pay and the Nevada Day holiday. The Minden Library will re-open 10 a.m. Monday. The Zephyr Cove Library will resume its normal schedule 11 a.m. Wednesday. Information, 782-9841.

Prescription Roundup

A prescription drug round up is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Gardnerville Walgreens, Topsy Lane Walmart, Sheriff’s Tillman Substation, Topaz Ranch Estates Fire Station, Lake Tahoe Safeway store, 212 Elks Point Road. No syringes or epipens accepted. Information, 782-8611.
