Opening Night

Seat Inspections

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is holding a child passenger safety seat inspection checkpoint 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at their main station, 1038 Buckeye Road, Minden. Deputies will be available to inspect child passenger safety seats or install new ones. Child safety seats will be provided for those who cannot afford one.

Flu Clinic

Douglas County’s free seasonal flu vaccination clinic is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Minden Elementary School. Douglas County Emergency Management is seeking volunteers to help. Information, 782-9040.
