We had the DCSO K-9 Unit doing K-9 demonstrations; The American Red Cross getting cards to the troops signed; Sheriff Ron Pierini , Brenda Robertson & Beverly Willard greeting kids on stage and distributing their raffle prizes. Carson Valley Sertoma helped with line management inside the event and DCSO and EFFPD Explorers assisted with different activities inside the event and DAREN the DARE lion and Sparky the fire dog were also on scene to say “Hi” to kids as they waited in line. Macie Tuell, Miss Teen Douglas County came by to see the kids and share her beautiful smile. We gave away 13 bikes and over 400 books and miscellaneous prizes. We would like to thank everyone who participated either by being a booth participant, corporate sponsor, volunteer or attend the event. Thanks for making the 20th Annual Trick or Treat Safety Street Event at CVIC Hall a safe and fun success.
