Shannon LitzThe Carson Valley Art Association scholarship show at the CVIC Hall on Nov. 2.

The Carson Valley Art Association held their annual Scholarship Show Nov. 2-4 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. We want to thank all the businesses and individuals that donated items for our raffle and silent auction, and to thank the community for supporting CVAA by their own donations and purchases. Because of all of this, CVAA is able to give several scholarships to graduating Douglas High School seniors who wish to pursue a career in the visual arts.Look for our announcement of the scholarship recipients next May. We look forward to seeing you all again next year. Our nonjudged Carson Valley Days Show will the first weekend in June. Again, our very special thank you, to all our supporters.Carolyn Denning President of CVAA88 Cups & MoreArtsy FartsyBeth BosmansBodywise Physical FitnessBrenda MaukCarolyn DenningCarson Valley Arts CouncilCarson Valley Country Club RestaurantCarson Valley Swim CenterCentral Systems ElectricClassical Glass Cowboy CafeDeana Venard @ ‘C’ & CompanyEast Fork GalleryEileen MerrillEspecially For YouEvelyn YonkerGreenhouse Garden CenterHamdogs RestaurantJ.T.
