Craft faire a success

The Carson Valley United Methodist Women would like to thank all those who made our recent craft faire a success. The UMW uses the money earned from this fundraiser to further mission work within our church, our community and beyond. We give money to the Family Support Council, the Food Closet, Abbey Crossing and City of Refuge to name a few areas in the community. Looking for ways to help in mission beyond our community we give money to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (first on the ground at many disaster sites like Typhoon Haiyan) and Heifer International, to name a few.

Many people helped during the craft faire and even more came to browse and buy items.

Our silent auction and raffle were a success because of the many generous businesses and individuals who donated items. We would like to thank: Kay Lacey, The Jewelry Box, Nyona’s Studio 395, Napa Auto Parts, Bud Brown, Nancy and Roy Liput, Minden Food Company, Grocery Outlet, Carol Lucas, Gardnerville Walmart, Battle Born Wine Shop, Cathy Nelson, Ace Hardware, The Dancing Deer, Joyce’s Jewelry Gifts and Antiques, Barbara Knorzer, Karen Wendling, Linda Hiebert Sekiguchi, Cecile Brown, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Glenda McClelland, PJ’s Liquor and Wine Shop, Plant-It Nursery, Nik-n-Willie’s Pizza, Jethro’s Oven-Grille & Sports Bar, Carson Valley Inn, Tombstone Tap & Grill, Jodi Bingham, The Manger, Barbara Gustavson, Peggy Reavis, Hamdogs Restaurant, Bob Onken, Orla Onken, The Wild Horse Bar and Grill, the Osborns, Linda Bellemore, Bernie and Gary Fikse, Genoa Country Store, Nancy Raymond, the Carson Valley Golf Course, Rose’s Hair Salon, Genoa Station Bar & Grille and Classical Glass.
