Become a ‘Patron of the Arts’

The new membership year begins this month for “Carson Valley Arts Council Friendship” which creates shared ownership of a vision for the future that benefits you, the Carson Valley Arts Council and our community. You can help the CVAC support youth art programs, world-class performers, local artists and our quality of life. Your membership also contributes to the establishment of a permanent center for the arts. CVAC is the free Carson Valley home to many professional artists, galleries, and antique shops showcasing our mountains, wildlife, rugged outdoors, ranching history, and the Old West. Friendship Benefits are open to all individuals, businesses, and organizations on an annual basis ranging from $25 to $500. Benefits include season tickets and “3-Packs” at a discount, invitations to visual art openings, fundraisers, and entitles you to a vote at the annual Friends’ Meeting.

Season tickets are on sale for all the excellent shows coming 2017-2018. Visit the Carson Valley Arts Council Friendships at to see this fall’s concert lineup. Contact the CVAC office at 782-8207 for details or stop by the Carson Valley Arts Council office at 1572 US Hwy 395, Minden (corner of Hwy 395 and County Road). Also, please consider helping bring the arts to Carson Valley. You don’t need to be an artist to volunteer, but you do need to love the arts.
