‘Mulan Jr.’ auditions Sept. 15 and 17

Auditions for the TOAD production of “Mulan Jr.” are 4-7 p.m. Sept. 15 and 17 at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, 701 Long Valley Road, Gardnerville Ranchos. There are 11 principal, 10 featured roles, plus ensemble for students age 6-18 for the stage adaptation of Disney’s “Mulan.” Prepare a one-minute audition song, with CD accompaniment with no vocals. There will also be a small dance audition.

Tahoe Ridge Winery concert Sunday

The Tahoe Ridge Marketplace & Bistro’s 2010 Wine Club Concert Series continues 6:30 p.m. Sunday with ukulele player Victoria Vox, who was winner of the International Acoustic Music Awards. The singer songwriter has been featured on NPR and the Jay Leno Show. ‘Perfect Wedding’ opens Sept. 17
