‘Mulan Jr.’ auditions at Pau-Wa-Lu

Auditions for the TOAD production of “Mulan Jr.” are 4-7 p.m. Sept. 15 and 17 at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, 701 Long Valley Road, Gardnerville Ranchos. There are 11 principal, 10 featured roles, plus ensemble for students age 6-18 for the stage adaptation of Disney’s “Mulan.” Prepare a one-minute audition song, with CD accompaniment with no vocals. Lone Tree Gallery in Minden offers ongoing classes and one-day workshops by local artists in various media.

An invitation to a ‘Perfect Wedding’

Tickets are on sale for the Carson Valley Community Theatre’s production of “Perfect Wedding,” written by Robin Hawdon and directed by Lucille Rao. Shows are performed 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17, 18, 24, 25, and 2 p.m. Sept. 19 and 26, at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
