Zombie Crawl

The Sierra Nevada Active 20-30 Women’s Club is hosting a Halloween themed “Zombie Crawl” at 6 p.m. Saturday. Beginning at Buckaroo’s Saloon participants will crawl to The Overland, The French, Sharkey’s Casino, The JT and back to Buckaroos. Pre-Register at for $15, or at the door for $20. Proceeds from the Zombie Crawl benefit the children of Douglas County.

The Carson Valley Art Association is seeking artists for its scholarship benefit show Nov. 3-6 in the CVIC Hall. This is a judged show. Receiving is 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3. The show hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 4, with an artists reception at 6 p.m. Snacks and beverages are served.
