Saturday, Young At Heart Senior Club at the Douglas County Senior Center is sponsoring a “Membership Bingo” game at the center. Only members may play. Membership dues are $3 for the year and may be paid at the senior center.

Doors open at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m. Free bingo for cash is available for all YAH members.

“The board will be serving Creme de Menthe Sundaes for all to enjoy,” said YAH President Paul Lockwood. “Bring your lucky shamrock and join in on the fun if you are a YAH member or wish to become one. You can pay membership dues at the center.”

— Sunday, Young At Heart Senior Club will be having its monthly bingo game. Doors open at noon. Early bird games commence at 1 p.m. and regular games at 1:30 p.m. Must be 21 years or older to play. This is open to the public.

The progressive pot for March is $400 on 54 numbers. The pot increases by $50 each month and one number. If not won, the game continues for black-out for one half of the take .

Hot dogs and chili will be sold at the snack bar. Free coffee and snacks are always available. For more information, call the center at 783-6455.

— Tax season is here. Taxes can be done at the Douglas County Senior Center in Gardnerville every Thursday until April 12. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and one-hour appointments are available. Appointments must be made at the senior center office. Call 783-6455.
