20/30 Club’s Haunted House spooktacular

Staff Report

If you’re looking for a spooktacular time Halloween week, you definitely want to put the Annual Carson Valley 20/30 Club’s Haunted House on your list.

The Active20/30 club and the St. Gall Community Center are sponsoring this year’s Haunted House. The Haunted House runs from Oct. 28-31. The doors open at 6 p.m. and will stay open until at least 9 p.m. each night.

When you arrive at “Haunted House 200,” you will make your way through mazes but watch for the creatures for they may not let you leave. Count your kids and don’t let go for you may not survive this wild show! The haunted house lurks with fun, you’ll only wish it was open all year.

When you enter the 6,000-sq.-foot Haunted House, you will experience one of the most impressive sound systems, awesome special effects, great costumes, hauntingly good food, and lots of Halloween hoopla. In addition to the supermaze you can enjoy hot dogs, nachos, caramel apples, cupcakes, and much more. You can also check out the Douglas County DARE cars and the Sheriff’s Hummer.

The charity event will benefit the 20/30 club’s Youth Charity Fund and the St. Gall Community Center. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will help fund both non-profit organizations community outreach efforts during the year.

The cost is $5 per person, children 6 and under are free. Those bringing one or more cans of food will receive a dollar off their ticket and the food will be donated to the Food Closet of Carson Valley.

The 20/30 Club has worked countless hours on the planning and construction of the Haunted House. Be sure not to miss this event as it promises to be one of the Valley’s fun-filled Halloween attractions to attend.
