William A. “Bill” Pearson, passed away June 3rd, with his loving wife Donna-Marie and daughter Elizabeth by his side.

Bill was born in Colton, CA to Guy and Alma Pearson January 1, 1930.

Bill graduated from Cal Maritime Academy & was a pilot in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He then became a pilot for American Airlines until his retirement.

He lived many years in Discovery Bay, California until his retirement. He then relocated to Gardnerville, NV in 2001.

Bill was an avid skier and very involved with the Sky Tavern childrens ski program in Reno. He also loved boating, and spending time with his family in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.

Bill is survived by his wife Donna-Marie; his daughters, Elizabeth Walther and Catherine Levy; his sister JoAnn Bartel; niece Susan (Cary) Sharp; 2 grandchildren and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 25th at 3 pm at the Crossrooads Church, 1788 Pinenut Rd., Gardnerville, NV.

An Ice Cream Social to follow, as Bill never saw a dish of ice cream that he didn’t LOVE!
