Everett Herbert Judge JR
May 23, 1939 ~ February 25, 2017
Everett passed away February 25, 2017 in Carson City, Nevada.
He was born on May 23, 1939 to Everett and Amelia Judge in Fresno, California. Everett graduated from high school in Sonora, California and attended Oregon State University following high school.
Everett was a fire captain for the California Division of Forestry in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties and retired with 30 years of service. He was also a Deputy Sheriff in Calaveras county and a certified diver for search and rescue.
He married Donna Lumsden in 1960 and had 3 children.
Upon retirement Everett relocated to Gardnerville, Nevada in 1990 and married Dixie Lee Johnson in 1992.
Everett was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a fishing guide in Washington, Oregon, and California. Every Thursday during trout season was he and Dixie’s time fishing together.
Everett belonged to many Lion’s Clubs throughout his life. He raised doves, quails, pheasants, was a wood worker craftsman, collector of memorabilia, and a fan of cowboy poetry with trips to the “gathering” in Elko, Nevada.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Donna and daughter Maureen Judge Lindsay.
He is survived by his wife Dixie Lee, children Rhonda Judge Trout, Howard E. Judge, and step-son Leland Lon Johnson.
