Jeffrey Scott (Koty) Hevener, age 49, peacefully passed away on September 11, 2024, at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. He was born to Karen Vallejos in La Mirada, California on March 19, 1975. Jeff moved to Carson City, Nevada as a young teen where he eventually had 3 beautiful children. “El Hefe” spent over 25 years in the manufacturing world of Carson City using his skills and knowledge in shipping, buying, planning and management. While not at work, Jeff enjoyed his time watching football (Just Win Baby!), playing pool and riding his ATVs Elvis and Tupac. He spent many Saturday’s working on car maintenance and preparing to run half marathons, all while listening to his favorite rock bands, much of whom he’d seen live in concert. Jeff is survived by his wife Julia, and children Kendra, Phillip, Aubrey and his only grandchild Scarlett.
Jeff’s services will be held at Casino Fandango in the Craft 55 room on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. For those attending, concert T-shirts and NFL attire will be the preferred dress code. Shine on you crazy diamond.
