John Nolan, 56, passed away on January 7, 2025, in Carson City, Nevada.
Though he resided in Carson City, his heart always belonged to San Jose, California, the place he called home since his birth on October 24, 1968. John departed this world surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering loyalty and steadfast support for family and friends.
John cherished the moments spent traveling with his sons, creating unforgettable memories through countless cross-country road trips. A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Giants, he wore his sports allegiance proudly, even still a bit salty over the loss to the Kansas
City Chiefs. His love for sports was only rivaled by his passion for rock music, movies, and sharing good food, traditions he fostered with his sons.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Lynn Waller.
John is survived by his father, Gary Nolan; his sons, Tyler and Matthew Nolan; his daughter, Jenna Kay; his cherished grandmother, Jeannie L. Davis; his brothers, Jake Nolan and Danny Spence; his sisters, Joelle Rainey, Janette Jones, Jordan Waller, and Gina Spence; and his
dear friend, Mary Delorme.
