Tobin Le Volberding

October 1, 1992 - February 20,2025

Tobin Le Voberding was born October 1st, 1992, and entered eternal rest on February 20, 2025, surrounded by his Mom, Dad, 4 sisters and his brother-in-law.

Tobin lived in Dayton, NV. His entire life. He was a true fighter to the end, succumbing to his 4th brain tumor since 1999. Tobin was involved in many things. He was very active in the cancer community, participating in over 25 pediatric brain tumor “Ride for kids” motorcycle Rallies. In 2011 Tobin won a Honda 250cc motorcycle at one of these events, which was a highlight of his life.

Tobin was a Make-A-Wish kid, and he also participated in many summers of Camp Okizu, a children’s cancer camp in Northern California and Camp Sunrise in Arizona.

Tobin graduated with honors from Dayton High School in 2012. He then attended and graduated from The College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, with a degree in wood working and cabinet making.

Tobin was employed at Complete Millwork Services Inc. of Carson City for several years. He also worked on the Polar Express for 2 seasons, handling the parking plus the extended time out in the cold. Tobin was also a substitute teacher at Dayton High School.

He volunteered many years for Dayton High School Boosters, working in their snack shack & helping with “Grad Night”. An active member of the First United Methodist Church of Carson City, Tobin participated in 7 years of serving the homeless of our community breakfast when “Night off The Street” is at his church. He also helped in the construction and presentation of
“The Living Nativity” held at his church for 12 years.

Tobin loved being with friends and family, riding his quad and motorcycle, visiting many southwest National Parks and riding scenic trains throughout the west. He enjoyed hunting with his dad all throughout Nevada searching for several types of animals.

Tobin is survived by his Mom & Dad, Alyce & Le Volberding of Dayton, NV. Sisters, Lisel (Ron), Tzeitel (Gabe), Tabor and Tegan (Marcus), 1 nephew, Clayton, 4 nieces, Catrina, Alyna, Sofia, and London, Uncles Bill Ebbert of Denver, Co. and Jim (Johnnie) Ebbert of Deltona, FL., and Aunt Ronnie Pangelina.

Tobin was an inspiration and hero to many and was truly loved and will be missed by all!

A Celebration of Tobin’s life will be Saturday March 15th, at 11am at The First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Division St. Carson City, Nv.
