Carlyece Humphreys, 95, made her transition on Tuesday October 4, 2022. She was born December 19, 1926, to Glen and Jewel Anderson in Carnegie, OK.
Carlyece and her first husband James Wallace moved to Weed Heights (Yerington) NV in 1952 and northern Nevada has been her home for 70 years.
Carlyece owned and operated a beauty salon (Carlyece’s Coiffure) in Carson City for many years. Carlyece was an accomplished oil painter and shared her paintings with loved ones through the years.
After retirement, Carlyece and her husband Ken traveled extensively, although, her favorite place was her property in McCloud at the base of Mt. Shasta.
Carlyece was preceded in death by her husband Ken Humphreys, and her brothers Kenneth, Terry, and Darrell Anderson, and her beloved Pomeranian Ginger.
Carlyece is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janie and Jim Dunn of Carson City and Son Carl (Skip) Wallace of Crescent Valley, NV. Granddaughters Jody Dunn and Michele Mazzera (Dave) and Grandson Joel Dunn (Sheri). Great grandchildren: Kayla Jacobsen
(Matt); Sienna and Elaina Mazzera and Great – Great grandchildren Gemma and Gatlin Jacobsen. She is also survived by stepchildren Lorraine Fox, Barbara Frolich, Leo Humphreys (Marlene), Denis Humphreys (Rocky), Valerie Cook (Rich), Anne Williams (Jeff), Kenneth Humphreys, Jr., Miles Humphreys (Susie), Lucia Damti and Norma Aguirre (Art). She leaves 20 step Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
At Carlyece’s request, there will not be any services.
