Sheldon, 84, passed away on February 17, 2022, peacefully at home.
Born in Garden Plains, Kansas, Sheldon and his wife, RoseMarie, moved to Carson City in 1970.
Sheldon proudly served in the Airforce from 1956 to 1961. Sheldon worked for Newman Construction for 25 years before starting S. Schaar Construction building custom homes in early 1990, retiring in 1997.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his wife RoseMarie, and his sisters Eileen and Marlene.
He is survived by his brother Daryl, son Dean, daughter Denise, four (4) grandchildren Dustin, Daniel, Desirae, Michael, Jr., and five (5) great grandchildren Austin, Karliegh, Levi, Isabella and Layla.
A graveside service will be held March 4, 2022, 11 am at the Lone Mountain Cemetery. 1044 Beverly Drive, in Caron City. A small reception will follow at the Schaar home in Carson City.
