Mary Louise Bartlett was born on November 8, 1923. Her parents were Jim Tom and Mary May from Morgan County, Kentucky. Blessed with a wonderful family, they endured the depression and the effect it had on all. She met Ben Bartlett in 1940 and they were married for more than 65 years until his passing in 2006. Ben was the City Manager in Fallon, Nevada where they lived for many years before moving to Reno. Although she left Kentucky in her 20s, she loved it there and was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel. Louise is survived by her sister Charlotte, and sons Ben (Susan) and Bill (Carla), and her grandchildren Sarah, Nikki and Curtis.
