Barry Bangert

Barry Bangert passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, with his family by his side. Barry
was born May 8, 1948 in Los Angeles, California.

Barry graduated from Westchester High School near LAX and pursued his passion for aviation by attending Northrop Institute of Technology to become an aeronautical engineer. Barry would serve as a flight engineer for some of the world’s major corporate figures, including Saudi business tycoon Adnan Kashoggi and millionaire industrialist Robert Fluor. Barry also owned and piloted many of his own private planes.

Barry relocated to Nevada more than 30 years ago and founded the More Company, based in Minden.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Barry is survived by his loving wife Julie Bangert and her extended family, his brother Larry Bangert and his wife Jody, sister Darlene Din and her husband Edward, daughters Jodi Padgett, Trina Peckenham and her husband Morgan, grandchildren, Megan Kowalski, Tyler
Kowalski and his wife Natalie, Tanner Kowatch and his wife Hannah, Torrie Kowatch and her partner Nick Peake, and Nolan Padgett, great grandchildren Mia Peake, Hudson Kowatch, and Avery Peake, nieces Cory Bangert, Drew Mycka and her husband Terry, Celeste Smith and
her husband Kyle, Sarah Williams and her husband Kevin, and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held next spring.
