Janice “Jan” Park Geffre

June 2, 1944 - June 24, 2021

Jan Park Geffre entered into eternal life in Payson AZ
June 24, 2021, with her Husband Mark by her side. She fought a long battle with many health issues, but her Heart finally gave out.

She was born to Raymond and Isabell Park in Gardnerville NV on June 2, 1944 and was a 5th generation Nevadan. Jan grew up in Gardnerville attended all 12 years of school and was a graduate of the DCHS Class of 1962.

She went to work in the business office of Sierra Pacific Power after graduation. She lived in Carson after her marriage where they raised their son. When Mark was transferred (NDOT) they moved to Las Vegas. After Mark retired, they moved to Yakima WA his hometown.

Jan was a gourmet cook, an avid reader & loved her flower garden especially Iris’s. They sold their home in Yakima and for the next 10 years begin traveling all over the US in their Motor Home, making many friends along the way. When Mark’s eyesight begins to fail, they settled in Payson where they spent the next 12 years. They became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Jan is survived by her husband Mark of 57 Years, her Son Raymond Geffre (Sparks NV), numerous Cousins, Nephew and Nieces (NV/WA) and many Friends.

Jan was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother Mickey Park, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

There will be no services per her request. Donations may be sent to DCHS Historical Society 1479 US-395, Gardnerville, NV 89410 or the AHA.

She will be interred in the Mottsville Cemetery at a later date. RIP Till we meet again.
