Karen Elizabeth Rasner

June 12, 1962 - December 13, 2021

In Loving Memory

Karen Elizabeth Rasner, born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on the 12th of June 1962, entered eternal life with our Heavenly Father and Savior on December 13, 2021. She was surrounded by her angels, family, and caring staff.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Danny Ray Rasner of Dayton, Nevada and her furry child, Tobie Rasner; her mother, Evylyn and (stepfather, Richard Copeland); her sister, Barri Lynn (John) Eley; father-in-law, Pete Rasner; sister-in-law, Terry Rasner, (Dr. John Yacenda); brothers-in-law, Michael (“Scotty” and Leanne) Rasner; and Darrell (Jill) Rasner. She was affectionately known to her many nephews, nieces, and grand-nephew and nieces as “Auntie Karen”.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Reynolds, her grandparents Dale and Betty Reynolds, and May Turnipseed from Elko, mother-in-law, Christine Rasner, her two beautiful and loyal furry children, Sandie and Brandie, her beloved horse, Kitty, and other family members.

Karen spent summers as a child at her grandparent’s ranch in Sawtooth Valley, Idaho where she developed a great appreciation for the outdoors. At nineteen, she met and married the love of her life Danny, and they spent the next 40 years hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. She was a graduate of UNR with a degree in accounting and retired from the State of Nevada.

Forever etched in our hearts is your love of life, others, your infectious sweet laugh, joyful spirit, and the love of our Lord.

Karen will be deeply missed by all of us.

A private family graveside service will be held.
