Kelly Jean Fisher (Reilly)

Despite a most courageous fight, Kelly Jean Fisher (Reilly) lost her long battle with cancer on June 6, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Los Angeles, California in 1958, Kelly was the youngest child and treasured daughter of Ed and Yvonne Reilly. In 1962, the family moved to Big Pine, California, where Kelly lived until graduating from Big Pine High School in 1976. Kelly had fond memories of her childhood and youth in Big Pine, and she loved to share stories about the great times she had with family, friends and classmates during these times.

Upon graduation, Kelly moved to Redding, California and attended Shasta Junior College. In 1979, she relocated to Reno, Nevada and married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Brolsma. While the marriage was not long-lasting, Kelly and Lynn shared two wonderful children, Breanne Randall and Owen Brolsma. Kelly’s second marriage, to Craig Fisher, lasted nearly 25 years. Kelly spent the last several years of her life in Pollock Pines, California with her loving companion, Robert (Bob) Piercey.

Kelly was a cherished daughter and sister, a loving mother and grandmother, and a caring and devoted friend. She was known for her good-heartedness, her quirky sense of humor (if you know, you know), and her beautiful smile.

Kelly was endlessly creative and loved to create thoughtful, handmade gifts for family and friends. In recent years, she honed her skills with stained glass and later yarn, managing to crochet beautiful blankets for her kids and grandkids prior to her death. We will always
treasure her works of art. Kelly loved spending time with friends and family, enjoyed a good game of cards (especially when beating her Mom), and could often be found “playing a few nickels.”

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Ed Reilly, grandsons Brooks Brolsma and Hayes Randall, and her ex-husband Craig Fisher.

She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Reilly, her children Breanne (Dave) Randall and Owen (Allie) Brolsma, grandchildren Evan and Davis Randall and Sadie and Ava Brolsma, her siblings Michael and Timothy (Lauren) Reilly, her companion Bob Piercey, and many aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Saturday, August 28th at 10:00 AM at LifePoint Church in Minden, Nevada. All who loved Kelly are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelly’s memory can be made to the Friends of Brooks Foundation or Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.

Mom...you were so loved, and we will miss you beyond measure.
