Youth Camp coming this summer
The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) is holding the 10th annual “Anytown, U.S.A.” human relations workshop for teen-agers, which will take place from Aug. 2-8 at Camp Clear Creek, south of Carson City.
This week-long retreat for high school students provides an opportunity for them to address the concerns in their schools and ways in which to be more inclusive of everyone and reduce the violence and racial tension in their schools.
Camp tuition is $350, and scholarships are available. There are still openings available for students grades 10-12 to attend camp. Call NCCJ at 333-9000 for more information and applications.
