WNCC offers stained glass class

Western Nevada Community College, Douglas is offering a new class for adults in beginning stained glass. The non-credit course meets for five Saturdays, April 29 to May 27, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Stained glass artist Donna Anderson will teach the class at the Douglas campus of WNCC.

Beginning stained glass will teach students ages 16 and older the copper foil method of stained glass construction. Students will learn glass cutting, use of all tools, pattern making, soldering and finishing techniques.

All students should complete a stained glass project with a pattern of their choice.

Students need to register by Monday, April 24, at WNCC Douglas, 1680 Bently Parkway South, Minden. This class is offered through the WNCC Douglas Community Services Division. For more information, call 782-2413.
