WNCC offers collage workshop

Staff reports

Collages are aesthetic, usually though-provoking arrangements of different materials of various shapes, textures, and colors that have been pasted onto backing sheets. They can be decorative, convey a meaning, or be symbolic.

Collage is a fun art form that does not require any art background or skills. A basic collage workshop will be offered by Western Nevada Community College art instructor James Weaver for three Saturdays, March 13, 20 and 27.

The workshop is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Douglas campus of WNCC. Register for the class in advance by calling WNCC Douglas at 782-2413, or register at the WNCC Douglas administrative office at 1680 Bently Parkway South in Minden.
