WNCC choir looks for singers

If there’s a hidden talent for music in you just bursting to vocalize itself, consider joining the Western Nevada Community College Concert Choir this spring semester.

Concert Choir (MUS 111) is open to all interested singers age 16 and up. The class meets Mondays from 7 to 10 p.m., beginning Jan. 26, at Educare School, 2210 Lone Mountain Dr., Carson City.

WNCC choir instructor Lois Ward said, “The choir sings many different styles of music; there’s something for everyone.”

For more information, call the instructor at 841-3049. Concert Choir is a one-credit class with a fee of $38.

Students may call WNCC from any touch-tone telephone to register for any credit class. Touch- Tone Telephone Registration will also continue throughout late registration and the spring semester for students who need to drop classes. Those in the Carson City area may call WNCC at 887-3130. Long distance callers may use 1-800-748-5690.

TTTR will normally operate weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends from noon to 6 p.m., excluding holidays.
