Unity to sponsor concert at Genoa Town Hall
On Friday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. in the Genoa Town Hall, the vocal and instrumental musicians of Unity Church of Today meeting in Genoa will present a one-night-only concert showcasing their wide-ranging talent.
“There will be something for everybody,” said Patrick Jolly, music director of Unity Church of Today and well-known vocalist in Carson City and the Carson Valley. “It will be a very, very eclectic program and will include pop, opera, religious and contemporary pieces and a few Irish tunes for good measure.”
In addition to Jolly, the group will include his wife Mary, John and Cherie Shipley, Kirsten Gleissner on the harp, guitarist and vocalist Per Rasmussen and Len Frueh.
