Two Scouts earn Eagle awards at Court of Honor

Staff Reports

An Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held Nov. 25, 2000, to bestow upon Adam Wulf and Bret Dixon of Troop 340 their Eagle Scout award.

The Court of Honor was presided over by George M. Keele and conducted by Kenyon Jarvis. Noted attendants were Sen. Lawrence Jacobsen and John Soderman, Douglas County school administrator.

All scouts who obtain the rank of Eagle have organized and completed projects that contribute to the betterment of the community.

Adam’s Eagle project was to plant trees at the fish hatchery to repair damage from the flood and to prevent erosion in the event of another flood.

Bret’s Eagle project was a blood drive where 58 pints of blood were collected by United Blood Services.

Many friends and family members enjoyed the evening listening to talks and stories about Scouting and other accomplishments of Bret and Adam.
