Tribe sets summer meal program

The Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California announces the sponsorship of the summer food service program. Meals and snacks will be served to all children 18 years and under at no charge. Site names, addresses, telephone numbers and contact persons are listed for obtaining additional information. The meals listed will be served at the times indicated. All sites will provide meals on weekdays from June 15 through Aug. 21.

n Dresslerville Community Gym, 1584 Watasheamu, Gardnerville, lunch, noon to 1 p.m.; Minerva Mose, 265-5645.

n Stewart Community Center, 465 Clear Creek, Carson City, lunch, noon to 1 p.m., snack, 3-3:20 p.m.; Wanda Batchelor, 883-7794.

n Woodfords Fire House, 96 Washoe Blvd., Woodfords, Calif., breakfast, 8-9 a.m., lunch, noon to 1 p.m.; Phillip Bennett, (916) 694-2170.

n Carson Community Gym, 2990 S. Curry St., Carson City, lunch, noon to 1 p.m.; Sherie Johnson, 883-6459.
